Job Summary

Supports the Senior Accountant and Controller with Financial report and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs account reconciliation and analysis.
• Creates journal entries.
• Perform manual invoicing.
• Assist with accounts payable function.
• Perform and interpret daily Value Add reports.
• Reconcile intercompany receivables.
• Analyses and reconciles intercompany balances, providing related parties with account reconciliations.
• Creates intercompany invoices.
• Creates internal order numbers and track associated cost to those projects.
• Completes month-end and year-end procedures and reporting.
• Assists in budgeting and forecasting.
• Records purchases and disposals of fixed assets.
• Maintains and updates material and product cost in SAP.
• Prepares ad hoc reports for management.
• Assists/guides other accounting staff with regard to accounting processes.
• Complete other projects/duties deemed necessary and appropriate.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

· Three to five years of accounting experience, with significant cost accounting exposure

· Working knowledge of SAP (FI)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Intermediate proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite

· Working knowledge of accounting processes including internal controls

· Excellent communication & organizational skills

· Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities

· Ability to work extended hours during month end and other times, as needed

· Ability to work independently and also as a member of various teams
